Batgirl had some good KOs in the classic Batman TV show. It’s a shame there wasn’t a fourth season. This head KO centers around Batgirl figuring out King Tut’s hideaway and surprising him. In the process, she defeats a couple of his goons rather easily but doesn’t realize his henchwoman is sneaking up behind her with a huge vase aimed at her noggin. What I liked about this scene is how overconfident Batgirl is after she defeats the two goons. There’s the slow build up of suspense as the henchwoman is speaking up behind her and how King Tut is distracting her attention away from who’s sneaking up behind her. The way he says “goodbye, batgirl”, the way her cowl moves forward as she gets hit, and finally when she says, “you’re not going anywhere” and he replies, “no but you are…. to dreamland”.
