Back in the late 90’s (?) I think, I was looking through Mr. X’s website and discovered Monsieur Paul’s artwork.  It was love at first site.  Here was an artist that was drawing the kind of things I was imagining.  He had a number of drawings and some stories up.  They were all fantastic, but Black Bat was the one that I really dug.  It had a hot heroine who was confident (…overconfident), older thugs that knew how to take her down from experience, excellent sleepy shots of the heroine, a great over the shoulder carry, and well drawn shots of a groggy heroine.
